AUCTIONS, PRIVATE SALES AND TENDERS

Buyers Guide

Bidder Registration

Prior to the commencement of bidding in any method of auction sale the potential purchaser is required to register and obtain a bidders registration number. Depending on the type of auction sale the registration forms are either on site at the auction premises or on line.

On the back of the bidder’s registration from or on line the condition of sale are outlined and should be read carefully prior to bidding.

Bidding at Auction

The Bidders number is your identification number throughout the Auction.

The Bidders number you obtain is for the use throughout that auction only and you must re-register at each new auction.

Make sure you bid is clear and precise and that you understand the bidding increments

If bidding online makes sure you are aware of the time frames set and deadlines.

If you are the successful bidder make sure your bidder’s registration identification number is available for the auctioneer or on line accounts to record.

Buyers Premium

A buyer’s premium is a commission percentage of the knock down price of the item/items purchased and is an addition cost to the purchaser.

These percentages vary from sale to sale so we suggest your make yourself aware of the premiums of each lot you are bidding on. The buyer’s premium will be identified separately on you invoice.

E.g. if the buyer’s premium is 10% and your winning bid is $100, the premium is $10. Total invoice is $110 assuming the sale is GST Inclusive.

Payment of your purchase

All payments by direct debit, cash or bank cheque only. Lots will not be available for collection until clear funds received.

A deposit is required on the day of sale with final payment required with in 24hrs of the sale unless other arrangements have been made.

Collection of Lots
